March 06 TOKYO - FEG announced Fight Card for FieLDS K-1 WORLD GP 2010 IN YOKOHAMA will be held at the Yokohama Arena, Japan.
It was anyone's game. Though it was 10 years ago, the 1999 tournament still holds as one of the most thrilling tournament Finals ever. It saw Andy Hug in his last Final, Mirko CroCop in top form, and a legendary battle between Aerts and LeBanner that is still discussed today among fight pros and fans alike.
It's become a tradition that the first tournament of the year take place in Yokohama and this year is no exception. On Saturday April 3rd, 'FieLDS K-1 WGP 2010 in Yokohama' at the Yokohama Arena will get the year started off right featuring a Title match for the K-1 heavyweight championship belt. Current champion and Japan's hope, Kyotaro, will have to defend his title from one of K-1's greatest legends, Peter Aerts.
Fans, fighters, and promoters all agree that the 1998 was one of the greatest K-1 WGP seasons in it's 17-year history.
