Midwest Mixed Martial Arts MMA News and Information

When we migrated from the old site to this one, probably the biggest thing that was missing was an event calendar.

With that in mind, I have just put the event calendar back in place, so for all you promoters out there, if you have an event coming up that you want to promote, be sure to drop us a line and let us know about it, and we'll be sure to get it on the calendar just like we used to.

In addition to the features of the previous calendar, this one also allows commenting/discussion of events that are posted.

Michigan’s first sanctioned Professional Mixed Martial Arts event -
The Royal Oak Music Theatre will play host to mixed martial arts powerhouse Xtreme Cagefighting Championship (XCC) on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 at 7pm. Tickets are $30 - $100
This event will be taped live for a future FSN broadcast and will also have a LIVE world-wide webcast available as Pay-Per-View the night of the event.

Midwest MMA, in an effort to be more informative and engaging, has relaunched in a new format.

While message forums are still available, the main focus of the new format is the aggregated news from the various recognized major MMA promotions around the world. registered users can comment on and discuss the various news items as well.

The message forums can be used for random discussion, or to promote your local and regional events, and fighters, or anything else you really see fit.
